I am sorry to read about your loss and I myself never knew how much it hurts to lose a loved one. On May 12th 2007 I lost my only brother whose name was also Thomas he also passed away from drowing in a lake close to home. My brother never really lived a good life he was always in trouble and recently was released from prison and was only free for 7 months and then he left us. I still think about that day and wish it never happened it hurts still to this day. 
My deepest condolences to you and your family, loved ones and all that knew your son and his friend. Close
